Take a Peek at our 2025 Inaugural Event
On May 27, 2025, on the traditional and unceded territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and Səl̓ílwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations, our inaugural Amplify Awards were hosted at the Microsoft Vancouver office. The venue served as a hub where technology and tradition meet, making it a fitting setting for the occasion. The event brought together Indigenous innovators and British Columbia’s tech sector to honour those using technology to strengthen communities and lead change.

Where Tradition Meets Technology
The inaugural awards combined bentwood boxes with 3D printing for a true union of Indigenous culture with modern technology. KC Hall's work blends graffiti art with traditional form lines and Heiltsuk language and meaning to create a unique style.
